Arrive Cape Town
On arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by a Lion World Travel representative at the Cape Town Airport and transferred to the 4-star Commodore Hotel just a short walk from the vibrant Waterfront.

Cape Town
Costco Member Benefit: Transfer to Table Mountain, the most iconic landmark of South Africa, and the beginning of your Cape Peninsula Tour. This is a Costco member benefit.
The main feature of Table Mountain is the level plateau from one side to the other, edged by impressive cliffs. Table Mountain is often covered by a so-called "tablecloth" of cloud.
Please note that the cable car-ride up Table Mountain is weather dependent. From the summit you can take breathtaking photos of Cape Town and enjoy the awesome views, Continue on your Cape Peninsula Tour with a drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise, towards the working harbor of Hout Bay. Continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs. After a stop for lunch (your own account), visit the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park.
You will have the opportunity to ride the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse for awe-inspiring views. Finally, the tour makes its way back along the coast towards the city, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Table Mountain Cable Car
Take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather-dependent) to enjoy the magnificent view of the Cape. Table Mountain is a scenic photographic background and a place from where you can take breathtaking photos of Cape Town.

Depart Cape Town as you transfer from your hotel to Cape Town Airport for your scheduled flight to Maun. On arrival in Maun, you will take a light aircraft flight to the Kadizora airstrip. The tented Kadizora Camp in the Okavango Delta offers open vehicle safaris, walking safaris and boating.
Please Note: Luggage restrictions on the Botswana light aircraft transfer flights is 20kg/44lbs in soft bags – including hand luggage.

Your Lion World Travel independent safari includes a “meet and greet” upon arrival. While on safari you will have local experts, rangers, drivers and/or trackers join you on your day tours, game drives and safari activities.

Visas
Canadian passport holders require visas for Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. E-Visas can be obtained prior to departure from the relevant Embassy or High Commission in Ottawa, or on arrival at the port of entry. Visas on arrival will not be issued for Kenya.
Passports
For visitors to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Kenya, and Tanzania, passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the intended return date.
Passport must contain at least 2 blank visa pages (each) for South Africa and Zimbabwe and 3 blank visa pages (each) for Tanzania, Kenya, and Mozambique.
Vaccinations & Health Precautions
Malaria is prevalent in the countries included in this itinerary. It is recommended to consult a doctor or travel clinic prior to travel regarding the appropriate precautions to take.
Yellow fever vaccination is recommended prior to arrival in Tanzania and required if arriving within 6 days after leaving or transiting countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Other vaccinations that might be considered before you travel include typhoid, hepatitis A and B, meningitis, and tetanus.

Covid protocols and entry requirements are also in place for visitors to Africa. Requirements vary between countries. Please speak to your Africa Specialist for information specific to your itinerary.
Traveling with children
If you are travelling to South Africa with a child/children under the age of 18 you must travel with an unabridged birth certificate, in English, even if both parents are traveling with the child(ren). Airlines will be forced to deny boarding if the required documentation is not produced.
