Continue on your Cape Peninsula Tour with a drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise, towards the working harbor of Hout Bay. Continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs. After a stop for lunch (your own account), visit the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park.
You will have the opportunity to ride the Flying Dutchman funicular (optional and own account) to the old lighthouse for awe-inspiring views.
Finally, the tour makes its way back along the coast towards the city, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather-dependent) to enjoy the magnificent view of the Cape. The main feature of Table Mountain is the level plateau from one side to the other, edged by impressive cliffs. Table Mountain is often covered by clouds to form the so-called "tablecloth" of cloud. Table Mountain is a scenic photographic background and a place from where you can take breathtaking photos of Cape Town.

Cape Town / Umhlanga Rocks
It is time to say goodbye to beautiful Cape Town as you are taken by private transfer to Cape Town International Airport. On arrival at King Shaka International Airport, Durban you will be met and transferred to to the Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga where you will spend 3-nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
The 5-star Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga is one of South Africa’s most iconic hotels. It stands majestically on the eastern seaboard of KwaZulu-Natal, with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean and has direct beach access. This colonial-styled hotel is a 5-minute walk to Umhlanga Village Centre which offers a selection of shops, restaurants, and bars.

Ardmore Tour
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and depart on a leisurely scenic drive; this will be the start of your Ardmore Midlands Meander tour.
The first stop will be at Nelson Mandela’s capture site, which commemorates a historically important moment in the struggle against apartheid.
The tour continues with a drive to Ardmore Ceramic Art. You will hear all about Ardmore’s story and how it began with one woman’s journey from her birthplace in Bulawayo, now Zimbabwe to KwaZulu Natal.
Enjoy a mid-morning high tea in the garden at Ardmore before you have an interactive experience where you get to plunge your hands into some clay to get the feel of it!
From Ardmore, it is a short drive to Fern Hill Hotel and lunch at the Snooty Fox restaurant, with time to explore the Tweedie Junction after.
After a lovely day spent in the in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal drive back to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then transfer by road and fly to Skukuza, via Johannesburg. Spend 3-nights including all meals and daily morning and late afternoon game drives at Dulini Lodge.
The six exquisite, thatched suites at Dulini grace the banks of the riverbed. The spacious accommodation with private plunge pools offers a private view of the riverbed, seamlessly integrating the splendor of nature and elegance of the décor.

Visas
United States of America passport holders require visas for Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Visas should be obtained prior to departure either on-line or from the relevant Embassy or High Commission in Washington DC. Visas on arrival will not be issued for Kenya.
Passports
For visitors to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Kenya, and Tanzania, passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the intended return date.
Passport must contain at least 2 blank visa pages (each) for South Africa and Zimbabwe and 3 blank visa pages (each) for Tanzania, Kenya, and Mozambique.
Vaccinations & Health Precautions
Malaria is prevalent in the countries included in this itinerary. It is recommended to consult a doctor or travel clinic prior to travel regarding the appropriate precautions to take.
Yellow fever vaccination is recommended prior to arrival in Tanzania and required if arriving within 6 days after leaving or transiting countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Other vaccinations that might be considered before you travel include typhoid, hepatitis A and B, meningitis, and tetanus.

Traveling with children
If you are traveling to South Africa with a child/children under the age of 18 you must travel with an unabridged birth certificate, in English, even if both parents are traveling with the child(ren). Airlines will be forced to deny boarding if the required documentation is not produced.
