BOOKING CONDITIONS:
Your agreement is with Luxury Gold and a contract is formed when you make a reservation with us that we accept. Enrollment in and payment for a guided vacation/holiday shall constitute acceptance by the guest of the terms and conditions in this document. These cannot be varied except in writing by an officer of the Company. All contracts with Luxury Gold are made subject to the terms of these booking conditions.
We reserve the right to change these booking conditions at any time prior to you making a booking.
The invalidity of any provisions herein shall not affect the validity of any other provisions. The agreement shall be construed as though the invalid provision was not contained herein and was replaced with an enforceable provision as similar as possible to the original provision. Should any conflict arise between these booking conditions and those contained within our brochures, these booking conditions shall prevail.
Every endeavor is made to ensure all services are included as per your quote request, however it is your responsibility to check all inclusions in the attached itinerary as any items not specified will incur supplementary charged.
All itineraries/quotation are offered subject to local driver regulations. It is the Travel Concierge duty to ensure that driver’s regulations are not broken.
Please be aware that public holidays, events, conferences or trade fairs may be scheduled to occur at the time of the groups visit and may have an effect on this tour with accommodation often difficult to secure in and around the area. We will update you on these events as they become available.
Deposits: Deposits in the amount of $200 per person is due upon booking.
Passenger List: Required to your travel agent no later than 120 days prior to departure.
Final Payment: Due in our office by no later than 60 days prior to group departure.
Price: All prices are per person in USD and is GROSS, with 5% commission included for Costco. Prices are based on charges, taxes and levies current at the time of booking and may change if there are significant changes in taxes, charges or levies imposed by any government or its agencies. The price based on minimum passenger numbers and in order for the tour to operate these passenger numbers must be met.
Cancellation Fees:
More than 60 days prior to departure: loss of deposit(s)
Between 59 & 16 days prior to departure: 30% of total tour cost
Between 15 & 08 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour cost
Between 07 & 01 days prior to departure: 90% of total tour cost
Tours with Rail & Cruise: Additional supplier penalties may apply depending on the date of the cancellation. Individual cancellations may necessitate an adjustment in the per person tour rate.
Pre/Post Accommodation(s): Between 14 days and day of departure 100% of accommodation cost.
Refunds: No refund is available if cancellations occur after the tour has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized.
Itinerary Changes & Tour Cancellation: Luxury Gold reserves the right to vary itineraries should circumstances dictate, as well as cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements, or circumstances beyond its control. Hotels listed are to be used as a guide only unless specified as confirmed. Confirmed hotels are subject to change beyond our control. In this situation we will arrange an alternative property as similar as possible. The advertised tours require minimum numbers to depart. Should these not be met Luxury Gold reserves the right to cancel arrangements.
Amendments: A fee of $100 may apply to any change made to your booking once confirmed
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is highly recommended for all guests covering all applicable dates of travel with Luxury Gold. This insurance should cover; tour interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation cover including during pandemic events. The choice of insurer is yours. The availability of travel insurance and extent of cover is constantly changing, please refer to our website (https://www.luxurygold.com/en-us/already-booked/travel-insurance) for most up to date information or talk to your reservation agent. Luxury Gold may receive a commission for introducing you to a travel insurance provider. Luxury Gold cannot be held responsible for your failure to obtain insurance which is appropriate and we recommend you purchase your insurance at or soon after booking your tour. Luxury Gold will not be held liable for any costs incurred by the guest resulting from their failure to obtain adequate travel insurance.
Rooming Arrangements: Single and Triple rooms are limited. Please advise if the group require more than Three (3) single rooms as these will need to be requested and an additional supplement may apply. Triple rooms are on a request basis and will be subject to availability at the applicable confirmed hotels.
Tour Membership: Any person under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The Travel Concierge may, at his or her discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour if he or she deems the person’s acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.
Baggage Allowance & Porterage: Porterage of one suitcase per person is included in the tour price. Due to limited coach capacity the sum of the length, width & depth of the case should not exceed 160cm (63 inches), and weight should not exceed 20kg (44 Lbs). Charges may be levied in the event these limits are exceeded & the promise to transport you may be invalidated.
What’s Not Included: Passports and applicable visa fees, laundry, phone calls, items of a personal nature, beverages, meals and sightseeing not detailed on the itinerary, tips and gratuities to the Travel Concierge, coach drivers and local city guides, excess baggage, optional experiences and travel insurance. Suggested tip amounts are for your Trip Operators for your Travelling Concierge would be EUR 7.00 per person per day and for your and Driver EUR 4.00 per person per day. Gratuities for other services included in your trip are included, such as those provided by Local Experts, dining room waiters, housekeeping staff and porters at hotels.
VIP Door-to-Door Return Transfer: May not be available at all gateways/cities. Where unavailable, will offer a discount of up to $100 USD.
Documentation: Electronic travel documents will be emailed approximately 3 weeks prior to departure. Electronic travel documents will be sent to the Agent/Agency email address or to the guests directly upon request, provided accurate email addresses are provided to Luxury Gold.
Booking Terms and Conditions: These conditions incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted the Travel Agent and Luxury Gold. By making a booking you are agreeing to these terms & conditions. Conditions on this page do supersede conditions stated in the Brochure however for additional terms and conditions not stated here please refer to the ‘Booking Conditions and other Important Information’ pages in the Luxury Gold Brochures or on our website at https://www.luxurygold.com/us/information/booking-conditions. These must be studied prior to making the commitment of paying the deposit as they must be referred to. Additional terms and conditions may be applicable to group bookings and will be advised as they become known
COVID-19: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the WHO senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
We ask that you please take personal responsibility for your wellbeing. This begins with packing any personal protective equipment and sanitizers you require. Please adopt physical distancing and hygiene practices throughout your pre-trip travel arrangements and follow all health instructions whether physical signage, or requests from our professional staff, once you are holidaying with us.
